Halo-halo

Halo-halo is a Filipino dessert made with a variety of dessert ingredients such as leche flan (caramel custard), ube halaya (purple yam jam), pinipig (rice flakes), sago (tapioca pearls), gulaman (agar-agar gelatin, often in various colors), nata de coco (coconut gel), macapuno (fleshy coconut), kaong (sugar palm fruit), langka (jackfruit), banana slices, sweetened white beans, mung beans, garbanzo beans, and ice cream among other possible ingredients that have all been mixed together with crushed ice and evaporated milk. Halo-halo literally translates as "mix-mix".
